The school is a non-profit organization. Fees have been set to provide income for adequate facilities, supplies, and staff. Monthly tuition for three-year-olds is $100.00 and monthly tuition for four-year-olds is $120.00.

There is a non-refundable or transferable registration fee of $35.00 and without exception must accompany the application. Refunds

Refunds cannot be made for absences, but will be made in case it is necessary for a child to be withdrawn from school.

Class Starting Times

The school currently has morning sessions for each age group.

Three-year-olds meet on Tuesday and Thursday morning from 9:00 to 11:45 AM. Four-year-olds meet on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 9:00 to 11:45 AM. Our policy is to allow for afternoon sessions as enrollment dictates, however, we would fill a morning session class first. If and when those sessions have been filled, registration will begin for afternoon sessions (12:15 to 3:00 PM).

Attendance

Since the learning process is cumulative in nature, regular attendance is important. If a child should be ill for a week or longer, please advise the child’s teacher, in writing, of the reason for this absence.

Children should arrive at school no earlier than ten minutes prior to school staring time and should be picked up within five minutes of dismissal. If at any time this is not possible, please discuss the situation with your child’s teacher. If it is necessary for your child to leave school during hours, written permission should be sent to the teacher.

Reports to Parents

In keeping with our belief that home and school work together, individual parent-teacher conferences are scheduled twice during the school year, or whenever requested by parents or by the teacher.

Telephone

The church and school telephone number is 860-379-3172. Please try to limit calls to emergencies during school hours.

Health

In accordance with school policy and in cooperation with the Connecticut State Department of Health, a completed medical form for all children must be on file at the nursery school. The form requires the listing of the dates of your child’s required immunizations as well as the date of a current physical exam. Also required is the name only of your family dentist. A form for this purpose is provided by the nursery school and is attached and must be filled out by the physician’s office ONLY.

Insurance

Student accident insurance providing accident protection for your child is provided by the school.
